The Michigan Inter-Club Swimming Association was formed in 1940 as a result of interest in competitive summer swimming by several area Clubs. The original member Clubs of MICSA were the Detroit Boat Club, Detroit Golf Club, Detroit Yacht Club, Flint Country Club, Grosse Pointe Yacht Club and Oakland Hills Country Club. The league is now comprised of 14 clubs from the Detroit area.
The Detroit Yacht Club will be hosting the 1st ever MICSA Alumni Swim Meet. The meet is for all swimmers that swam in the MICSA League, for all clubs, including the former teams from Grosse Pointe Hunt Club and Detroit Boat Club, that are 18 years and older. The meet will be held on Friday, June 5, 2015.

Plum Hollow Country Club is proud to host the 2015 MICSA swim finals. The Michigan Interclub Swimming Association (MICSA) was formed in 1940 as a result of interest in competitive summer swimming by several Detroit area clubs. In its 76th year, MICSA is the oldest swim association in the country. Over the 3-day weekend, PHCC will accommodate over 1,400 swimmers and an estimated 3,000 to 5,000 spectators. See you there!
