The Michigan Inter-Club Swimming Association
The Michigan Inter-Club Swimming Association was formed in 1940 as a result of interest in competitive summer swimming by several area Clubs. The original member Clubs of MICSA were the Detroit Boat Club, Detroit Golf Club, Detroit Yacht Club, Flint Country Club, Grosse Pointe Yacht Club and Oakland Hills Country Club. The league is now comprised of 14 clubs from the Detroit area.
Finals 2012 Information
Great Oaks Country Club is proud to host the 2012 MICSA swim finals. The Michigan Interclub Swimming Association (MICSA) was formed in 1940 as a result of interest in competitive summer swimming by several Detroit area clubs. In its 73rd year; MICSA is the oldest swim association in the country. Over the 3-day weekend, Great Oaks will accommodate over 1,400 swimmers and an estimated 3,000 to 5,000 spectators.
2012 Finals will be hosted by Great Oaks Country Club July 27-29.
